Job Description

Leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment for the marine industry seeks an innovative Design and Development Engineer, ideally with a knowledge of one or more of the following: Fluid Movement, Air Movement, Filtration, Manifolds or CFD. The role will be to take a lead in NPD, looking at developing a range of novel products to supply to their well established customer base within the marine leisure industry.

Established for over 50 years, our client has an excellent reputation within its chosen niche, working closely with leading manufacturers of high value marine vessels. Under new ownership, the business spans to double turnover over the next 5 years, which will be achieved predominantly be through the development and sale of novel products into their existing customer base. For this reason, the new recruit will play a pivotal role within the company as their new designs will directly affect overall business performance.

Positive performance in the role will lead to further responsibility and financial improvements on an ongoing basis.
