Job Description

West Yorkshire based OEM of Rotating Equipment, seeks a Field Service Engineer located in the Yorkshire region. Being part of a global business, the successful applicant will benefit from first class training, development and excellent long term career prospects.

Day to day, you will be based from the workshop in Leeds and from there you will travel to sites throughout the UK, conducting preventative maintenance schedules. Over time, with further training, you will be involved in diagnosing, faultfinding and solving breakdown issues at Powergen, Utilities and Petro-Chemical plants. 

The ideal candidate will be from a “hands on” background, and be mechanically proficient. They would have experience gained in the strip down and overhaul of mechanical components, ideally on rotating equipment such as pumps, steam systems, compressors, mechanical seals etc, but this isn’t essential. The key requirement here is a aptitude for solving mechanical problems and a first class work ethic.
