Job Description

Leading Global Manufacturer of electrical machines seeks an Automation Specialist to help define and develop their global automation strategy. Presently the business has minimal automation, relying on mainly on manual processes, but wishes to significantly invest in new technology to help drive their business forward.

Based from one of their sites in the Peterborough area, your role will be to develop an overall plan, liaise with automation vendors to understand equipment functionality and then lead a programme of installations globally via indirect reports.

The ideal candidate will have worked within a highly automated production environment, potentially from within the automotive industry. They will have significant experience in dealing with automation vendors and would have gained first -hand experience of multi-site implementation.
