Job Description

This dynamic, forward looking supplier of Corrosion Resistant Alloys to the energy markets are currently looking to recruit a bright, talented and energetic metallurgist to the position of Group Technical Director.

With a growing global market share in off shore and energy applications they now
seek to strengthen their group board. Being the key technical lead across the group the perfect candidate will have a degree in metallurgy with a good understanding of marine and acid based corrosion mechanisms within stainless steel and Nickel based alloys. The candidate should be driven towards growth and innovation.

Key Aspects of the remit will include:

  • Being the expert and authority in material selection and specification across the customer group
  • Leading technical management and consultation through quality, compliance and test procedures
  • Drive NPD and innovation in conjunction with the market leading OEM’s and mills globally
