Job Description
We are working with a leading Industrial Services organisation with a global platform and operations in over 45 countries totalling over £5bn in sales. With a focus on Energy Services, this organisation has the need to continue effectively supporting the infrastructure from an internal service and technical team. This team delivers high quality IT support and services to the group.
The Person
The Supply Chain Manager will manage a dedicated team covering EMEA and Americas and also support the APAC Service Centre. The successful candidate will possess a high level of knowledge of Information Technology and Products, strong stakeholder and supplier management skills and will be required to prepare and negotiate global IT contracts with for example Microsoft, Dell and Cisco.
This role will be required to manage and work on multiple projects at any one time.
The Role
To be considered for this position you must have a strong background in sourcing of IT within a large organisation. Alongside this you will have contracting drafting and reviewing skills, specifically in IT hardware, software, managed services, outsourcing, telecommunications and networks. Naturally you will also have in depth knowledge of bid process management, supplier sourcing, supplier evaluation and selection, and award.
Ideally candidates will be MCIPS but we are open to consider you if you are working towards this qualification. A Degree in Supply Chain or similar qualification is required alongside extensive experience at a senior level in Supply Chain.
