Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our global clients in the Heavy engineering industry supplying components in to the aerospace industry.
Based in Sheffield, this role will be responsible for the logistics, warehouse and man management of a warehouse and despatch team. Other key areas of the role include liaising with the sales functions, responding to ‘one off’ emergencies, preparing all relevant despatch documentation and developing standard operating procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a warehouse/despatch function within a heavy engineering environment as well as knowledge of lean practices and process in order to improve the effieciency of the department in line with the organisational plans.
This role would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to increase their knowledge of this fast paced environment and who value career progression.
