Job Description

One of our leading clients within the casting and forgings industry is looking to recruit an Immersion Ultrasonic specialist to join their fast paced NDT team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role will ideally suit an individual who is looking to develop their career within a forward thinking organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support for the overall production testing requirements including supervision of level 1 personnel, setting up and calibrating equipment and ultrasonically testing parts including interpreting and evaluating the results. You will be required to have a flexible approach to work as it may be required to travel to other sites within the group.

We are ideally looking for a candidate who holds ASNT and PCN level 2 in UT immersion as well as recent experience within a similar industry/environment. Aptitude in mathematics would be beneficial and a valid UK driving licence is desirable.
