Job Description
My client is a Global energy services company providing a wide range of Engineering, Production and Maintenance services to global Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries. This organisation is focused on success and market leading status in long term growth sectors, growth is achieved through organic growth and acquisition.
The Role
As the O&G Contracts Manager you will deliver comprehensive Contract Management for our client for the delivery of services to their major clients including all QHSE Technical, Commercial and general administration functions.
You will manage all aspects of the commercial relationship between the company and the customer. This will include working with Project/Contract Managers, engineers and other function across the range of client contracts
In this role you will manage all technical deliverables by planning, contracting and coordinating the activities required for successful delivery of OGIS contracted services. This includes comprehensive managed services around rotating equipment, gas turbines services, field labour activities and repair/parts replacement.
Manage all internal requirements for contract management including performing annual budget preparations for senior management approval. You will also prepare and submit reports as required and identify problems that could compromise delivery of the contracts. You will comply with company and client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures.
The Person
The successful candidate will possess a relevant technical qualification such as an HNC/degree in a recognised engineering discipline with strong oil & gas, power or process industry experience. In addition you will have successfully managed contracts, budgets and people.
Also, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable leadership experience in gas turbine facilities or related environments of gas turbine packages and their respective driven units e.g. generators, compressors and pumps.
You will be an excellent communicator with good customer focus and be delivery orientated. Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis techniques and be able to demonstrate successful goal achievement with the ability to think on a strategic level as well as tactically to drive solutions.
