Job Description

Great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / General Manager with a background in lean and continuous improvements for leading industrial lighting company, Scotland, OTE £80k.
Our client is a leading manufacturing organisation with a well established brand looking to expand their product portfolio and take the business to the next level.  The role of Operations Manager / General Manager is an exciting time to bring about cost reductions both on the manufacturing side as well as the bigger commercial picture.  You will be involved in implementing lean principles across the board, full P&L responsibility, man management and above all take ownership of the direction of the business at senior level.

We are interested in speaking to individuals who have a proven track record in an operations / general manager role within lighting / light assembly environments.  The implementation of lean manufacturing principles and a record of cost reductions across all areas of a business are very desirable along with a real “can do” attitude.  Relocation of plants/ manufacturing environments is also advantageous.
