Job Description
A leading global client of ours within a heavy engineering environment is looking to recruit a Process Quality Engineer to join their diverse and forward thinking team in South Yorkshire. The company, who are manufacturers of components in to the aerospace industry, are looking for an individual who would want to progress their career within a fast paced environment.
Within this role, you will be required to provide expert advice on process improvements and quality engineering support. You will also be responsible for performing and conducting 8D events with an emphasis on business improvement project tasks. Ensuring that the department is compliant with the QMS and Quality plans is an equally key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will be certified six sigma black belt and come from a metals or heavy engineering background where process improvement is a key focus. You must also possess expert competency in the use of FAIR’s, 8D, Root Cause Analysis and FMEA’s, amongst other quality tools. Experience with working in the aerospace or automotive experience is highly desirable.
This role is ideally suited to a candidate who is looking to develop their career further and would like to have a heavy focus on making a difference to the production process.
