UK based OEM of passenger vehicles requires a Service Manager to coordinate activities across the Scottish region. Being integral to the ongoing success of the of the Aftermarket division, the successful applicant will benefit from first class training and development not only technically but also from a man-management perspective.

Day to day the role will involve attending to customer needs, understanding their issues, allocating resource to fix the problem and giving constant feedback to customers throughout the process until the job is closed.  The role is office base, managing a team of Field Service Engineers to deliver on jobs within agreed budgetary constraints.

The ideal candidate will be from a “hands on” background, with experience likely to be gained in one of the following: heavy plant, construction equipment, mining machinery, diesel engines, fork lift trucks, and MOD vehicles, rail or refuse vehicles for instance.
