Very well established and highly reputable, this organisation has a wide range of clients within their portfolio and provides high levels of customer service and technical support.
 
Due to continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting for a Condition Monitoring Technician to be based in Aberdeen.

The Role

The purpose of this position is to carry out partial discharge analysis, phase current analysis, thermographic surveys and current injection testing of electrical protection relays. Your key responsibilities will be;

• Partial Discharge data collection from rotating plants and HV Switchgear.
• Phase current analysis, protection relay testing and thermographic surveys.
• Current injection testing
• Effective planning and implementation around above testing and analysis on electrical protection relays
This role is predominately offshore based and you will also be involved in overseas work.

The Person

Successful candidates will be accustomed to working offshore and overseas and have experience of HV Protection Relay Testing alongside electrical condition monitoring techniques (advantageous) but training will be provided. 

Also, a practical electrical and relay testing background will enable your application to be successful.
