Job Description
My client is a global brand operating in many related power generation industries providing maintenance and repair services. Very well established and highly reputable, this organisation has a wide range of clients within their portfolio and provides high levels of customer service and technical support.
Due to continued growth and success, we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to be based in Aberdeen.
The Role
The position of Offshore Project Engineer is office based, Monday to Friday. You will be producing quotations for offshore work, liaising with customers, ordering materials, organising and supervising projects. In addition you will schedule new and ongoing offshore work as required and supervise offshore workers alongside providing electrical support for the offshore workers. You will also develop project work and working procedures in support of client requirements.
The Person
Successful candidates will ideally have served a recognised 4 year electrical apprenticeship with the applicable minimal qualifications. Also, preferably you will be certified to work on and have knowledge of equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations i.e., Compex Certificate or equivalent. As this role supports the condition monitoring engineering team you will have a basic understanding of condition monitoring.
To be considered you must have the ability to read and speak fluent English and hold a full UK Driving Licence or Equivalent recognised Driving Licence. You must have a relevant work visa to work in the UK. Ideally you will hold a valid passport.
