Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist drilling products for the oil & gas industry. Due to ongoing success and for expansion purposes currently has a requirement for an experienced Technical Sales engineer to join the organisation on a permanent basis. The role: To research and develop new markets such as Renewable energy, Power Generation, Nuclear and defence alongside Oil & Gas and taking new & existing products into the target markets with a view to raising the company’s profile and generating revenue. This is a key role within the business and will suit a career minded professional who ultimately will move into a more strategic commercial management role. This is a very exciting opportunity for any individual who enjoys working in what will start off as an entirely new business development focused role with a view to really putting their own individual stamp on how they progress within this business and taking ownership of what will turn out to be a separate business unit is a very realistic expectation. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, a very strong consultative sales background selling technical products into the following sectors oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, medical device, nuclear and aerospace or automotive.
