Technical Compliance Manager (Food) - Dudley Child Executive Recruitment

A high level of customer awareness and customer service allows this innovative manufacturer of high-care chilled products to remain one of the market leaders in their field. Established for over 80 years this, stable and forward thinking business has continued to invest, despite the tough market conditions. With a new site due to open later in the year they are now seeking an experienced Technical Compliance Manager to oversee technical compliance across 2 of their sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a supplier audit programme covering food hygiene, safety, quality and ethical trading. With the responsibility for the risk assessment of raw materials and raw material suppliers, you will also work proactively with operations, technical and operations teams to minimise any raw material issues on site. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for supporting the internal factory team with independent audits and assist in customer visits, where appropriate.

A demonstrable track record of auditing factories and systems is essential, coupled with the experience of working with multiple retailers and web based technical systems. You will be an experienced team leader with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally. A Lead Auditors qualification is preferable although not essential.
