Remaining a leading name within the Oil and Gas industry requires constant investment in technology, structure and resource. It is because of subsequent growth due to these factors that this organisation is looking to identify a Materials Engineer to represent the business and add technical competence to the team.
The core responsibility for this position will be to provide dedicated analytical resource enhancing forensic and root cause analysis support incorporating the full range of rotating equipment based products. Providing engineering based solutions for product application requiring specialist materials will be key as too will be material test and laboratory management. Ideally, the person will be degree educated and have a level of membership to the IOMMM with a track record of failure analysis of engineered material.
