The Company
Since its formation, our client has grown to be a household brand name in the UK, with its food products being manufactured across each of its 10 UK based manufacturing facilities. In order to build upon the continuous improvement culture that has been accelerated within the company over the last couple of years, they are now looking to appoint a Group Manufacturing Manager who will be tasked with steering each of the sites towards World Class standards.
The Role
Within this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing an overview of each site, looking at key considerations such as asset care and loss management. After conducting studies into the validity, cost and timing of potential improvement projects, your role will be to oversee the delivery of agreed improvements through a team of on-site experts who possess a strong knowledge base in areas such as Six Sigma, Lean and OEE.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in the development of World Class Manufacturing standards across multi-sites and have experience of developing and validating programmes of work based around Continuous improvement at strategic level.
